RAVE Cluster has a mission for club outreach, we are desperate like so many others to see God move in this part of our lives. Every fortnight we go out after cell on a Wednesday and stand outside of CORP and Embrace and hand out water bottles to the many students making their way home. This year we have see an explosion in the passion of those doing outreach and in the responses of those receiving the water, God is so good! It is such an encouragement to see the way that God impacts the clubs and how a bottle of water can turn around someones night for the better.

RAVE began last year by heading out to CORP and throughout the year were able to set up a good presence there. This year we have managed to reach out to Embrace on a regular basis as well and have recently started to do Inside Outreach as well. There is something HUGE going on in the club scene in this city, in this country and in this world! God is moving in such powerful ways!! It is so exciting to see more and more people get involved and run with a vision for Clubs. As a Cluster above everything else we have learnt to be intentional with our outreach, to actively go out and seek the places where God asks us to be. It is so exciting to see the fruit that comes from that and we have been challenged to step up and step out.

It is so exciting to see all the ways that God is impacting this city and the ways that God is using each and every Cluster and their outreach.

// Mission

So last night a group headed down to the union in the early hours of the morning to prayer and give out bottles of water and show some of God’s Agape love. And we had an awesome night.We started off the night by prayer walking as much of the city as possible, and just prayed that God’s presence would be evident throughout all the clubs and pubs that night. We really want to claim that ground back for God.

We then started to give out water about 2am, and people were loving it, one guy commented ‘you christians are ******* awesome!’ which made us all chuckle. We also met the guys in the photo who we chatted to for ages, one of whom takes an agape bottle that he got 6 months ago into his lectures with him everyday.

The highlight of the night though was just as we were about to leave, some of the guys starting talking to a guy who was looking for a lighter. Turns out the guy loves Jesus, but has not been able to find a church yet as he works on sundays, but is now gonna join a cell group!!

So far this year we have given out of 5000 bottles of water, and been to over 30 club nights. God has been evident at everyone of them, we have seen people healed, get connected with church, and just been so open to what he has for them. He has answered so many of our prayers, and gone beyond our expectations. He’s pretty awesome!!
