Dear Students,I know that you are all very busy, but if you still haven’t purchased your Sudent Party tickets they will be on sale till this Wednesday at 3pm.

You can either email me at jon.hunter@stthomascrookes.org, and I will write your name down. Or you can come into reception at church and pay on card by Wednesday at 3pm. We are doing this because we need to let Church Army know numbers for food! If you choose to email me you will be able to pay by CASH ONLY on the door on Friday.Also we are sorry to say that we have reached our limit of guests that can for free. If you want to bring a guest still they or you will have to pay for them. Really sorry but we only could afford 50 free places.Tickets are £6. Study hard!

Due to the huge success of the 100 Day Bible Challenge, Life Church and churchforstudents are delighted to announce that another Bible Challenge is on it’s way…Summer Bible Challenge!

This new resource will help you go deeper with God during your summer holidays. This new Bible Challenge is packed with Paul’s letters to the early church and also includes the book of Hebrews. Paul’s letters are incredible…full of challenge, invitation and above all, emphasize the importance of being a disciple of Jesus 24/7.

We hope this Summer Bible Challenge will help you and help our church community grow as disciples during the holidays.

Student Party – ‘Village Fair’ theme!

Please, please, please book your tickets now for our final term student party!

Our ‘Village Fair’ theme party offers a top quality BBQ, Live music and lots of fun games, such as, splat the rat, Coconut Shy, Croquet, Corn Board (it’s american!) and loads more. Get involved in what promises to be a great way for our community to celebrate a fantastic year.

Tickets are on sale after the 7pm Gathering on Sunday. Tickets cost £6 and guests come for free but we need to know numbers so we have plenty of food for everyone.

Names not Numbers Pub Quiz

Names Not Numbers is a charity that Lucy and Jon Smith of our church help run. They raise money for two community projects, one in India, one in South Africa. The quiz is happening tonight and they would love to see loads of people there! Get involved!

Welcome back to sunny Sheffield! We hope you had an incredible Easter and that you are excited for the new term. We can’t wait to welcome you back and see what God has in store.

This term can often be tough with the pressures of exams and deadlines but please know that the student team are praying for you and are always around to grab a drink.

We have some exciting events planned for this term, here are just a few…

Marriage Preparation

The Marriage Preparation Course at St Thomas’ Crookes is starting on Tuesday April 24th at 7.30pm (For 5 weeks). This is a fantastic opportunity to develop and grow in your relationships whether you are thinking about marriage, already engaged, or just exploring what the future is for you as a couple. It has been one incredible term! Evening gatherings have grown (averaging 350), clusters have built community, 150 students attended the first ever student conference and we gathered again at the Church Army to be inspired by the Good News and to hand out water till the early hours.

We just want to thank you and encourage you as you head home for Easter. We love you all and we will be praying for you as you prepare for exams and dissertation deadlines.

Please do pray for the life of St Thomas Crookes as we celebrate Easter and prepare for a monumental summer term when the campus is changed and we begin to plant churches across the city!
