So often when reading about the exploits of Jesus’ followers in Acts it seems very far removed from my day to day comings and goings. For instance Acts 8:26-40. Philip, was instructed by the angel of the Lord to “Go south to the road…”. Student and worship leader Josh Gauton has recently written and recorded a fantastic worship song all about the faithfulness of God.
You Never Fail speaks of the unchanging nature of God in all our circumstances and ultimately upon the cross of Jesus Christ.
On the forthcoming student weekend away, Josh and the band will be leading us in worship using this song, amongst others, so we would highly encourage you to download and learn the song (which is free, of course), and be ready to pour out your heart to the LORD in worship, whatever you face at this moment in time.

Just thought I’d share with you a song I wrote last year and recorded with some friends over the summer.
I actually started writing this in 2009, after hearing a comment that there are not so many songs we use in congregational worship focusing on the theme of the fatherhood of God. This song tries to explore that theme, and specifically the love Father God has for us and has already displayed (and continues to do so!) to us. Some key verses I was looking at when writing this song were Luke 15:11-32 (the prodigal son), 1 John 3:1 and Ephesians 4:6. Hope you like it!
