Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see (Hebrews 11:1). The problem I have with faith is really believing that things can change, trusting in God when in a hard situation that he will break through. For me this has something to do with control. Andy Hawthorne spoke at the 7pm gathering about Salvation + Transformation + Multiplication. The church building was packed with young people hearing about the book of Acts chapter 3…how Paul, through the tough times and the good times continued to pursue God’s eternal Kingdom no matter the cost.
It was an incredible evening. People were challenged and lives were changed. Many gave their lives to Christ and over 20 people signed up for the Sheffield Eden Project.
