I’ve been buzzing this week. We had 154 people in the building for Alpha with 80 guests (people who don’t know Jesus).

What a term it has been! God has done so many incredible things throughout this fun packed term. Alpha Courses have been kicking off all over the place, 7pm Gatherings continue to grow and go deeper in worship and cluster communities have multiplied cell groups and have witnessed transfroming stories of God at work in all his people.
We love you guys and hope that you have an incredible Christmas.

The Student Team
The week beginning 26th November the student church are going to pray as one. We long to see Jesus impact people’s lives across our city, nation and world. Praying is a powerful act and when we pray stuff happens…trust us, it does!
As part of St Thomas Crookes week of pray and fasting, the Student Team would like every member of churchforstudents to join us in praying every day at 12pm. It’s such an easy thing to do and we guarantee that we will begin to see the difference as we seek God and ask him to heal the sick, feed the poor and release the broken hearted. I recently went to a Coldplay gig with my good friend Nick Law at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester. It was one of the most amazing events I have ever been to! The sound was incredible, the words were filled with truth and emotion and the atmosphere was electric…it was an incredible evening and the creativity that I witnessed, felt and heard was life giving. The Student Conference was a huge success, a cluster multiplied, thousands of water bottles given out, student city gathering rocked up the city centre, and above all people came to faith through cluster, gatherings and Alpha. God is SO good.
We hope you have a great summer. Please know that the Student team will be praying for you and preparing lots of fantastic things for September.
