In preparation for beginning my final year at University I have been doing some reading about the resurrection. A lot of this reading can be put into these two categories:
Evidence for Jesus’ resurrection (and arguments against)
&
The implications of the truth or untruth of Jesus’ resurrection for us
Accepting that Jesus died and that he rose again, based on the evidence available and the revelation of the Holy Spirit, is the starting point of being a Christian.
The implications of Jesus’ resurrection are of utmost importance for us. With that in mind ask yourself:
Do I live my life in such a way that if Jesus wasn’t raised from the dead all that I am is a complete sham? & Can I claim that I know Jesus is alive because of the transformation that he has brought to my life?
